those short days and long nights, feeling sleepless all the time and my brain is working slow, slower, slowest.

creativity is somewhere outside in the cold cloud creeping around my dark tent where I'm hiding in

here and there some little spots of eyecatching things, saving them in my mind for longer nights.

It's not that I hate the short days it's, just my nights could be a bit longer. Or some really good news during the daytimes.
something like: hey I like to print a book of your art, hey I like to sponsor you (that would be really really good news!^^)  or just a: you're sexy like hell thing:P

we still fight

I couldnt resist.
After a few years not blogging    anymore,  I started over.
eyeweiss.blogspot.com is my new little blogginghome, where I collect inspiring stuff from fantastic artists, writers and some of my own words and pics.
It's mainly in german (sry guys^^)

my birthday today. another year is gone and I have the feeling  nothing important happened. not for me, not for my art.
there were of course some highlights, some yippieh's and woowowow's, but still... waiting for more, dreaming of more.

when will I not only proclaim: I'm an artist? when will I really be one? selling art, making exhibitions and not only a titbit here and there. Doing nothing else but pictures, getting all this out of my brain and working for having one day - someday-, only for a few hours, a completely empty head.

enough crying :) the next year begins, a new year, new chances and hopefully new inspirations.

A few days ago Alex Bram wrote me an e-mail:
...I am producing a horror based film festival this August 6th in Los Angeles, CA and I want to display some of your artwork....

I was like: wohooooo :)
The film festival is called: Carnival of Darkness, make sure to check out the website and if you're in LA -> go buy a ticket.

Alex chose 3 artworks: my self: Roots, one artwork of my new fairy tale edition: Die Verführung der sechsten Braut and a portrait-photography: so oder so ähnlich.

They will be projected onto a state of the art Screen (15' H x 38' wide).

Too bad LA is too far away and too expensive  to travel there, but I'm happy and kind of proud.

For the second time, one of my pictures was chosen for being published on stern.de.

The first one was part of the "best nude pictures".
And, you won't believe it, this time a self of mine is part of the: "most beautiful people-shots".
I really appreciate this, but hey guys - are you sure with the "most beautiful" part? You should investigate in this :)

Weeee, I just started (as usual) a new series called: Dark Walls.
I found that great texture made by: Stephen and I couldnt resist and there we go.

And! as you can see, there is a new feature in da house:
Above the news on the site you can now see my latest additions to my gallery. So you don't need to browse my whole gallery to find the new stuff.
(Well you should browse it anyway^^).






I'm still looking for people above 65 in my town. But no, there is no one who likes to be naked and beautiful in front of my camera at this age. Why?
Guess I have to wait until I'm that young.

I started a surreal/fantasy series: New Fairy Tales.
Since I was a child and began to read books, I loved Fairy Tales. So I decided to  bring out some fantasies of mine to visual light.
Furthermore I'm planning to write the fitting Fairy Tales to the artworks.
But first the pictures.

Today my thoughts are banned by the unexpected death of Michael Jackson. His music was always part of my life, especially in the 80's.
One of the greatest performers & musicians is gone...

Farewell Jacko

I spent a few days in Italy/Tuscany, it was an awesome trip. 3000km all in all but worth every single inch.

I visited Firence, Livorno, San Gimignano, Volterra, Montepulciano, Val d'Orcia, wonderful places and the weather was wooowowow:).

After 12 years my first holidays.
Some pictures in my photography section are available, also some new stuff in photography and digital art.

I was so fking sick^^, that I didnt even had the brain for creating some art. But since Im feeling better now, there is a bunch of new stuff you can see in my galleries.

Weißt du, sagte sie, es gibt diese Tage an denen meine Welt sich in kleine Tropfen auflöst und im Klo runterspült.

Diese Tage sind meine Abwassertage, da bin ich Kanalarbeiter und wate durch die Scheiße und ziehe hier und dort ein fälschlicherweise reingeworfenes mit Leben vollgesogenes Tampon raus, mit Tränen gefüllte Pariser und zwischendrin die Reste vom Vortag.

Am Abend wenn ich den Gullideckel unter meinen Füßen zurückschiebe und mit meinen gelben Gummistiefeln die dämmernde Straße entlang watschel, sehe ich hinter hell erleuchteten Fenstern das, was mir morgen begegnet.
Einsamkeit ist anders.

I started a new little series "portraits of pain".

Since my new website is online,  I dont even know if I have visitors at all. The old one had so many hits and always visitors - I need a counter! Human males preferred^^
I'm not sure if the way I now present my art (without the chance to comment) is the best way - we will see.

Next weekend I have a shooting with steffi  aka skin-deep, and I'm so excited, we have some crazy ideas and I hope we can make a few woowowoow pictures.

Today I got the message that a friend of me passed by.
It seems that the older I am, the more messages of this kind I get. Feeling helpless about this and knowing sometime it will be me, who produces such a message for someone somewhere. I'm sad, I would have so many things to tell him and to share with him, but I can't anymore.
He just bought a new camera to start over with and I'm still waiting for the results of his LOMO photographies - I will wait forever now.
I admired his humour and the relaxed way he saw his horrible illness.
Mattes, wherever you are, I know for sure you finally have no pain anymore and I bet there will be mmorpgs too ^^. I know you loved this work: Goddess of War. (digital art/fantasy)

Perhaps the beginning of a new series, right now I'm not sure where this is going to lead me.
I'm fascinated in old photographs and also in the imagination of the future, so going forward 500 years and then looking straight back a few hundred years: How would an analog picture (assuming they would still exist) look like?
This and my addiction to modifying objects and/or household items brings up my first artwork in this style: Windguard. (digital art/surreal)
A tea strainer reborn as wind engine, hope you enjoy it.

Well- it was about time to change something, and there we go:

corrupted.de is now also known as "anja millen imagery", beside that: the domain: http://www.anjamillen.de will work too.

The biggest change for me is the move from a pure blog interface to a website more focussed on my work as an artist, not ignoring my poems and prose but separate them from my pictures.

There will still be news here and you can comment on them and hey, I have a guestbook now too :) *wink wink*
Soon you will also be able to rss-feed this site, but I hope you already enjoy the new design and user interface.
